Born to be an engineer —that’s how Lesley describes herself. In high school she discovered she really enjoyed writing software. That she became a software engineer and remained one for 15 years was no great surprise. That she could combine her love of technology with law was a revelation, and the rest is history.
Lesley found her true calling as an attorney by layering her engineering background with patent law. The pace of change in the technology industry does not slow down this avid runner who has run 12 marathons so far, including crossing the finish line four times in Boston. Lesley is constantly on the forefront of new developments, particularly in the world of software. It doesn’t hurt that Lesley has a deep technical background. After all, how can you thoroughly protect technology if you don’t fully understand it?
Those who know Lesley best most often describe her as kind and generous, a person motivated not by self-interest, but by a desire to help others. Couple those attributes with a focused, driven and meticulous approach to business and a reputation as a skilled networker, who knows how to put the right people together to achieve the best possible result and you have a combination that’s hard to beat.
